The scene was set at the Best Western in Oakhurst, but you wouldn’t have recognized it from the start as the floor to the ceiling was covered in heavy black pipe & drape. Major glamour was then added with metallic influences of silver, gold, and bronze with ample touches that shined against the black backdrop throughout. Tall ostrich feathers in vases added movement and charm. White lounge furniture popped against the dark backdrop with hot pink uplighting to keep the romance alive. Floating balloons with metallic streamers filled the raffle room for a surprise entrance while giant masquerade props filled every dark corner. Antique candelabras paired with short votive candles added subtle light touches against the dark ambience for all the mystery possible.
The best surprise element’s were the entertainment for the evening! Also part of the ambience. It was nothing short of amazing with fire dancers and an electric violinist to take the night away! Greeted with a blazing entrance of fire blowers, the ball was entertaining and full of excitement from the start. Ample Oooos & Awwws could be heard throughout….while the electric violinist took center stage for a live performance most had not seen before.
