Charlie & Maggie reached out to me after starting to work with a different wedding planner out of the Bay Area. They were a bit overwhelmed and wanted a different approach for the laid back style they were wanting for their 3 day wedding weekend. Sure, there would be some formalities, but for the most part the couple wanted to write their own way down the aisle. I jumped at the chance to help Maggie & Charlie with their wedding planning! As the new part Owners of the once local golf course, Sierra Meadows, the couple had the free range to design a wedding day & weekend as they wanted. Their location along the rolling hills was so perfect in the spring time setting that a true wedding festival style began to take shape. I helped the couple work and form a service team from food servers to bartenders. We created their signature drinks and designed their tablescape & layout. Cheesecloth runners in vibrant blue & orange rotated on round tables or long farm table that the Groom Charlie made himself. Multipatterned napkins varied at each place setting with unique Masu Sake boxes for sake tasting & toasts and chopsticks to accompany the gourmet Japanese with sushi catering. All accompanied by the most gorgeous blooms from Ripon farm, Dutch Roots. It was a weekend full of love, laughter, toasts to the newlyweds, with great music, & nonstop fun for all, but mostly the Bride & Groom!
