Ranch Wedding in Mariposa, CA
Mariposa local’s Amber & Bobby had always known they wanted to get married at the locals only VanNess Ranch. As a real working ranch, The VanNess was only available to locals if you know the owners and are invited to host your wedding on their ranch. As soon as I saw the barn where the reception would be held, I knew why! It was not only the largest barn I had ever seen, but also the most glamorous for a true working barn…horses still in their stalls at our site tour & everything!! There were huge chandeliers of varying sizes overhead and so many different ways for the reception to be set up. There was a built-in bar on the far side with all the many ranch brands of past couples who had been married there, a way for the local ranches to be showcased & remembered. Amber & Bobby didn’t want a typical arch or arbor for their ceremony backdrop, just the gorgeous dead oak tree out front draped with simple drapery for their focal point. Vintage milk jugs were used down the aisle topped with stunning floral arrangements by a family member of the Bride, Shelley Trabucco. Varying sized bohemian style rugs then overlapped down the aisle for a boho meets western style that was so beautiful and true to the couple. It was a gorgeous fall day for a wedding!
