Goals & Vision
we listen, then make magic
- Goals: Michelle & George wanted to create an elaborate but intimate reception dinner that wowed them & their guests! Also, they wanted to create a day that flowed well and did not feel rushed or scattered at any point.
- Vision: Michelle & George were traveling to Yosemite to get married for a reason – they have a true love for all things outdoors and for the natural beauty of their surroundings. They wanted outdoor elements to be fully incorporated into their designs but still wanted it to be an elevated experience.
- Client Feelings: Michelle & George did not want to worry about the designs & logistics for their day. Traveling from the east coast, they knew they wanted to throw an elaborate celebration for their intimate Yosemite wedding. But, they needed someone to bring together their design wants and create the wedding of their dreams while assisting with the foreign Yosemite environment.
How We Executed
1:Design Meeting
I want to hear about everything that inspired them and drew them to Yosemite for their wedding day!
This meeting is full of questions that build on each other to really learn what the couple loves and would be exciting for them to have as part of their wedding day design.
2: Mood Board & Lookbook
Once I have a clear idea of the aesthetics, I get to work designing the different moving parts that make up the actual wedding setup.
This includes things like the intimate reception table, its layout & full tablescape design, overhead lighting & drapery, the cake table, entrance into the reception, and personal florals.
I design these digitally for clients to get a real vision of what these elements will actually look like on their day.
3: Sourced & Styled
Once designs are approved, I get to work sourcing and working out the logistics. This includes deliveries and pickups for the wedding day.
We put a clear plan in place for rental deliveries, floral orders, and everything needed in between. This allows me to design the location seamlessly with everything that is needed for each wedding setup.

Working with Jessica was a dream come true in so many ways! She was as enthusiastic and invested as we were in making our wedding day truly magical.
Our communications were always easy, productive, and timely. There was never a moment of feeling stressed about how the day would come together.
We loved and appreciated her creativity, and her ability to interpret our ideas and make them come to life in a seamless, collective style.
Marrying in Yosemite, it was important to us to bring in elements of the outdoors, seasonal colors, and details inspired by local vendors and places.
She delivered on all of it, incorporating colors of spring wildflowers, using natural elements like wood chargers and pinecones, procuring local honey jars for favors, and on and on!
Jessica styled a reception for us that was all we asked for and more: intimate, sophisticated, breathtaking, and memorable. Our teen nailed it when she said, “This feels like we’re on an episode of Bridgerton!” Jessica certainly made us feel like a king and queen for a day!
If the style and design wasn’t enough, Jessica did all the leg work in coordinating with local vendors. She worked with them directly on our needs, managed invoices and payments, and coordinated all the set-up and delivery.
Our wedding day couldn’t have been easier with her on our team!
We can’t rave enough about Jessica’s talent, passion, creativity and energy. She is a gem and we consider ourselves beyond fortunate to have worked with her!
