Daniel & Chase
month of coordination at AutoCamp Yosemite, Midpines
Goals & Vision
we listen, then make magic
Originally, Daniel & Chase were not thinking they needed a wedding planner or coordinator for their day. But, after destination wedding logistics started to arise, they changed their mind! They were so excited to have one onboard for their Yosemite wedding day.
- Goals: They needed some planning guidance for the remaining nine months of their wedding planning period. Specifically, a logistics mastermind for all the moving parts of their day. They did not want to worry about anything, from the setup/vendor management/& actual wedding flow on their day-of in three different venue locations.
- Vision: Daniel & Chase wanted a modern-meets-the-woods aesthetic for their day. They wanted an upgraded feeling that was not the typical rustic mountain wedding. We ended up going with with a black & white modern color scheme. We paired that with greens and some flashy touches, like fun lighting and disco balls for their dance floor.
- Client Feelings: They were struggling to figure out how to successfully plan a wedding from afar. They wondered how to achieve everything they wanted on their day-of without sacrificing the enjoyment of their day.
How We Executed
1:Discovery Call
I wanted Daniel & Chase to feel supported from our very first meeting!
I always dig deep in discovery calls to really uncover what couples are most concerned about at that stage of their planning journey.
They were concerned with all logistics for their day. This included the rest of their planning process, as well as how to bring their vision to life on their day.
2: Logistical Details
I put together custom planning materials and timelines for them that would help steer the rest of their wedding planning.
I did a deep dive into every little detail for the rest of their logistical planning. This way, they knew exactly how each part of their planning and wedding day would come together.
3: Execution
Their month of coordination came into play 45 days out from their wedding date, where we finalized their wedding day timelines and layouts.
I then took over all of their vendor communication. I ensured everyone had the finalized documents to successfully execute their wedding day.
On their wedding day, we perfectly styled their wedding designs, managed all day-of vendors, and seamlessly executed their day. This was across three different locations: ceremony, dinner, & dancing.
“The cherry on top is that she was an incredible LGBT-friendly wedding planner.”

5 Star
10/10! Jess was the best wedding planner we could have asked for. We had her as a “month-of” planner but she helped guide us through the planning process from 9 months out. She provided great planning materials and timelines. Plus, she thought of every little detail for logistical planning that we never would have thought of.
Originally, we didn’t think we needed a wedding planner but wow we were wrong! Once the one-month countdown began, she took all of the logistics planning off of our hands and made sure everything ran smoothly. Same with the day-of – she was calm, cool, collected and made it so that we could just enjoy our day without any stress. I cannot thank her enough.
The cherry on top is that she was an incredible LGBT-friendly wedding planner. Her professionalism and inclusiveness is so comforting in a very heteronormative industry and my husband and I were so thankful.
