not all those who wander are lost
All about the fun
Wedding planning is no longer something most couples enjoy together, but rather something they just get through together. We want to change that! Let us help you find an approachable way to manage the added wedding planning demands while incorporating many fun jaunts along the planning ride!
Service with a smile!
With a heart for true service, we love catering to our clients AND our community! We are active members of our mountain community and volunteer for many large community events & boards. You can find us involved with events like the Christmas Tree Auction benefiting the Oakhurst Boys & Girls Club, as a board Director on the Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce, & the new President of the Oakhurst Community Center.
Love for the great outdoors
As nature enthusiasts ourselves, there’s nothing we love more than a beautiful event in an even more beautiful outdoor setting. We’ll help you to find the perfect location for your big day and navigate any variable elements like weather or interrupted travel plans that may come up along the way.
I’m Jessica or Jess, boss babe here at The Wandering Bride!
With almost 10 years of wedding & event planning and coordinating experience in beautiful Bass Lake, CA, I have a true love for weddings, especially with a beautiful outdoor backdrop. Through my career with The Pines Resort, I helped them build & grow the wedding & event department. I was able to receive 4 Couple’s Choice Awards for quality of service as well as had 3 weddings published in several reputable real wedding publications.
I have coordinated over a 1000 events, mostly in an outdoor setting, and I know how to navigate the tricky Sierra Nevada terrain and weather.
It’s all in the details
Those special unique touches that all tie together and represent each couple, and their journey. I’m a firm believer that details are best when they all complement each other and tell your love story!
I believe everyone should take more Risks in life, that Love really does conquer all, you should never turn down a chance to Travel or have a celebratory Toast, and that Dessert especially anything Chocolate should always be served first! Life is too short and we all should take more time to Celebrate every day!
