Our Philosophies

All about the fun

Wedding planning is no longer something most couples enjoy together, but rather something they just get through together. We want to change that! Let us help you find an approachable way to manage the added wedding planning demands while incorporating many fun jaunts along the planning ride!

Service with a smile!

With a heart for true service, we love catering to our clients AND our community! We are active members of our mountain community and volunteer for many large community events & boards. You can find us at & involved with most local area charity events!

Love for the great outdoors

As nature enthusiasts ourselves, there’s nothing we love more than a beautiful event in an even more beautiful outdoor setting. We’ll help you to find the perfect location for your big day and navigate any variable elements like weather or interrupted travel plans that may come up along the way.

My husband Travis is my biggest support, rock, and best friend. We just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary!

Hello Beautiful People!

I’m Jessica, boss lady here at The Wandering Bride!

With over 8 years of wedding & event planning & coordinating experience in beautiful Bass Lake, CA, I have a true love for weddings & events, especially with a beautiful outdoor backdrop.

I am passionate about

finding special places & views that speak to people, change attitudes & perspectives, and overall change lives.

I have coordinated over a 1000 events, mostly in an outdoor setting, and I know how to navigate the tricky Sierra Nevada terrain and weather.

It’s all in the details
for me!

Those special unique touches that all tie together and represent the couple, theme, & event. I’m a firm believer that details are best when they all complement each other and tell your true story!

I believe everyone should take more Risks in life, that Love really does conqueror all, you should never turn down a chance to Travel or have a celebratory Toast, and that Dessert (especially anything Chocolate!) should always be served first! Life is too short and we all should take more time to Celebrate every day!
